We are back at the desk and racing doesn't wait - this past weekend the new year was kicked off in New Zealand hosting another edition of the long-standing Port of Tauranga Half (Ironman).  Graham O'Grady (NZL) (past winner) was first out of the water in a Helix wetsuit. A new athlete ambassador working with blueseventy, Mark Bowstead (NZL), raced to a stellar 2nd overall behind New Zealand triathlon legend and former blueseventy athlete Cameron Brown.  Bowstead gave us a post race shout-out on twitter: " was 1st & 2nd out the water in the men's race, absolutely loved my first race in the helix.Feels so free & fast"
In the women's race blueseventy's Cat Morrison GBR and Amelia Rose Watkinson NZL we with the leaders of the swim and raced to the top two spots on the podium.
