swimmingfaster: Collins wins NYC

This weekend we saw race action from New York City to Norway.  blueseventy athlete Ben Collins (USA) won the Lifetime Fitness New York City Triathlon and posted the fastest swim leading from the swim.  Radka Vodikova (Czech) took 2nd on the women's side.  Lauren Brandon (USA) was first out of the water for the women's race.  
In Boulder CO at their inaugural Ironman event- blueseventy/Wattie Ink athlete Danielle Kehoe (USA) charged to the first Ironman win of her career!  Christine Hammond (USA - Timex) led out of the water  and finished 3rd on the podium on a rather hot Colorado day.
In the men's race Ritchie Cunningham (AUS -Timex) was first out of the water and led until late in the run which left him taking 2nd to Justin Daerr.  Justin runs Endurance Corner - a Boulder coaching outfit blueseventy sponsors.  Steven Zawaski, one of our brand ambassadors and local to Boulder finished 5th.
Timex Team AG athletes Wendy Mader (USA) and Luis Alvarez (MEX) also competed in Boulder. Wendy swam 2nd fastest in her AG, and won her AG overall.  Luis attended the event with nearly 200 Team IronMex athletes from Mexico.  Boulder was Luis's 106th Ironman finish!

blueseventy athlete Petr Vabrousek (Czech) won the National Ironman Distance Championship in Czechoslovakia - an event called the the Slovakman.  

Last Wednesday in France at the Alpe d’Huez triathlon, Lucy Gossage (GBR) earned 2nd place in this iconic triathlon.

Speaking of Iconic- the Norseman triathlon was this past weekend in Eidfjord Norway.  The men's winning time was 10: 52 and the women's 12:56.  Conditions were tough but it never stops these athletes.    Our contest winners Kris Cordova and Paulo Rua both completed the race and lived their dream.
