2013 Lifetime Fitness Series Champ Dye; McLarty's fast swim

This weekend in Oceanside CA, athletes lined up for the Lifetime Fitness Series Finale event.  blueseventy athletes Cameron Dye, Ben Collins, Sara McLarty and Jen Spieldenner have been racing all year to gather points going into this event.  Sara McLarty piloted her Helix wetsuit to a race best 17:45 (yes, faster than all women AND men) and spent most of the day alone leading the race.  The stacked field challenged Sara and she battled her way to 4th place at the finish.  Jenn Spieldenner (USA) right behind in 5th.

Cam Dye (USA) has a few Lifetime race titles to his name this year and a few swim wins as well.  Oceanside was not going to be easy on Dye but his 3rd place finish was easily enough for him to sew up the Series title.
